Hotel Regulations and Staying Stipulation

【 Hotel Regulations 】

To help ensure a safe and comfortable stay for our guests, the Hotel has developed a set of Regulations, based on Article 11 of the Terms and Conditions of the Hotel. All guests are asked to follow these Regulations. The Hotel reserves the right to refuse to allow any guest who fails to observe the Regulations to stay at the Hotel or use its facilities, in accordance with Article 12 of the Terms and Conditions of the Hotel. Please note that the Hotel reserves the right to take other action as required.

  1. Please do not bring or use flammable items, such as heating equipment, cooking equipment, irons into the Hotel.
  2. The hotel is a non-smoking building. Please refrain from smoking in places that represent a fire hazard, such as in bed, or while along corridors or in the lobby. The Guest shall compensate the Hotel for the damage caused through intention or negligence on the part of the Guest in relation to the smoking raw. In the case when the Hotel was fined due to the Guest’s fault the Guest should compensate not only the fine but also the damage caused by business disruption in the future.
  3. Please refrain from the following activities, which may inconvenience other Hotel guests:
    * Please do not bring the following items to the Hotel because they may inconvenience other Hotel guests:
    (i) Pets and animals, such as dogs, cats and birds (excluding guide dogs, hearing assistance dogs, and service dogs)
    (ii) Items with an offensive odor
    (iii) Inflammable or combustible items, such as gunpowder and volatile oil
  4. Please do not carry out gambling and other illegal activities in the Hotel, which may inconvenience other Hotel guests.
  5. Please do not use guest rooms for purposes other than sleeping or dining without the permission of the Hotel.
  6. Please do not deliver or display advertising materials, or solicit the sale of goods in the Hotel without the permission of the Hotel.
  7. Please do not bring food or drink into the Hotel, or order food from delivery services.
  8. Deposited clothes or lost properties shall be kept for 3 months from the date of check out unless requested otherwise by the guest, and then dealt with as and when require in accordance with the laws and regulations.
  9. Please do not use Hotel facilities for other than their intended purposes.


【 Requests for the Guests 】

  1. Please make payment before check in or check out when requested by the Hotel.
  2. Please immediately ask at the front desk or the manager if you have any inquiries about your payment.
  3. Please do not leave guest rooms and enter corridors and other places in the Hotel wearing nightwear, bathrobes, or slippers.
  4. Please always deposit cash and other valuables at the reception desk, as the Hotel can not be held responsible for valuable items left in the room.
  5. Dangerous and disorderly behavior or non-compliance with the safety rules and regulations may result in eviction as well as payment for any damage caused to the Hotel including loss from business disruptions.


【 Staying Stipulation 】

Article 1. [Scope of Application]
  1. Contracts for Accommodation and related agreements to be entered into between this Hotel and the Guest to be accommodated shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions. And any particulars are not provided for herein shall be governed by laws and regulations and/or generally accepted practices.
  2. In the case when the Hotel has entered into a special contract with the Guest insofar as such special contract does not violate laws and regulations and generally accepted practices, not with standing the preceding Paragraph, the special contract shall take precedence over the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.

Article 2. [Refusal of Accommodation Contracts]
The Hotel may not accept the conclusion of Accommodation Contract under any of the following cases:
  1. When the application for accommodation does not conform with the provisions of these Terms and Conditions;
  2. When the Hotel is fully booked and no room is available;
  3. When the Guest seeking accommodation is deemed liable to conduct himself in a manner that will contravene the laws or act against the public order or good morals in regard to his accommodation;
  4. When the Guest seeking accommodation can be clearly detected as carrying an infectious disease;
  5. When the Guest seeking accommodation can be clearly detected as carrying dangerous drugs;
  6. When the Hotel is unable to provide accommodation due to natural calamities, disfunction of the facilities and/or other unavoidable causes;
  7. When the Guest seeking accommodation can be clearly detected as unfit for providing accommodation according to the laws of the Republic of Korea;

Article 3. 〔Registration〕
The Guest shall be asked to register the following particulars at the front desk of the Hotel prior to the day of accommodation.
  1. Name, age, sex, nationality, occupation, contact details, and check in and out time of the guest(s);
  2. Other particulars deemed necessary by the Hotel.

Article 4. 〔 Payment of Deposit 〕
  1. When the Hotel has duly accepted the application for accommodation the deposit of the accommodation fees may be asked by cash or an alternative method accepted by our hotel, such as traveller’s checks, accommodation vouchers, or credit cards.
  2. The deposit can be used for a penalty for breach of contract as prescribed in the following Article 5, and the remain of the deposit can be returned.
  3. Even if our hotel provides a room for the Guest and makes it available for use and receives prior payment during a high-demand season, but the Guest chooses not to stay, our hotel will still charge the accommodation fee regardless of the contracted period.

Article 5. [Cancel Accommodation Contracts by the Guest]
  1. If the Guest for his/her own reasons cancels an Accommodation Contract in whole or in part, our hotel shall request a breach-of-contract amount as follows;
    1) General guests
    ① If the cancellation made before 72 hours, the fees for the first day shall be charged.
    ② If the cancellation made before 48 hours, 50% of the whole fees shall be charged.
    ③ If the cancellation made before 24 hours, 100% of the whole fees shall be charged.
    2) Group guests
    ①-1 If the cancellation made before 72 hours for all reserved rooms, the fees for the first day of all reserved rooms shall be
           charged.
    ①-2 If the cancellation made before 48 hours for all reserved rooms, 50% of the whole fees for all reserved rooms shall be
           charged.
    ①-3 If the cancellation made before 24 hours for all reserved rooms, 100% of the whole fees for all reserved rooms shall be
           charged.
    ②-1 If the cancellation made before 72 hours for a part of reserved rooms, the fees for the first day of all reserved rooms
           shall be charged.
    ②-2 If the cancellation made before 48 hours for a part of reserved rooms, 50% of the whole fees for all reserved rooms
           shall be charged.
    ②-3 If the cancellation made before 24 hours for a part of reserved rooms, 100% of the whole fees for all reserved rooms
           shall be charged.
    ③ If there is a difference between the number of reserved rooms and that of used rooms, the reservation for remainder of
        the rooms is regarded as canceled and shall be charged according to the above rate.
    3) Others: In case of cancelation of reservation made from May to October (Very high-demand season) with prior payment
        condition.
    ① 24 hours before check in : 100% of prior payment;
    ② 48 hours before check in : 50% of prior payment;
    ③ 72 hours before check in : 30% of prior payment;
    ④ regardless of period : 20% of prior payment; shall be charged.
  2. In cases where the Guest does not appear by 6 p.m. on the accommodation date without advance notice, the Hotel may regard the Accommodation Contract as being canceled by the Guest.
  3. In case of cancelation in accordance with the preceding paragraph, and when the Guest is not liable to the cause of the cancellation such as delay or cancellation of a ship, aircraft, or public transportation, the Hotel shall not charge the fees prescribed in the paragraph 1.

Article 6. 〔Cancel Accommodation Contracts by the Hotel〕
  1. The Hotel may cancel the Accommodation Contract under any of the following cases except special circumstances:
    1) When the Guest is deemed liable to conduct and/or have conducted himself in a manner that will contravene the above
        Paragraphs from the 3rd to 7th of Article 2.
    2) When the Guest’s information necessary for Article 3 is not specified until the due date.
    3) When the Guest did not pay deposit until the due date as prescribed in Paragraph 1 of Article 4.
  2. In the case when the Hotel has cancelled the Accommodation Contract in accordance with the preceding Paragraphs 1), 2), and 3), the Hotel shall return remainder of the deposit after deducting necessary costs.

Article 7. [Registration for Accommodation]
The Guest shall register the following particulars at the front desk of the Hotel on the day of accommodation.
  1. Information prescribed in Article 3;
  2. Except Korean, nationality, passport number, visa types, address in Korea, and contact number;
  3. For Koreans, contact details, and temporary deposit for using minibar and possible damage;
  4. If necessary, current address, occupation, and company name;
  5. Date and estimated time of departure; and
  6. Other particulars deemed necessary by the Hotel and law.

Article 8. [Check out time ]
The Guest is entitled to occupy the contracted guest room of the Hotel until noon (check out time). In the case when the Guest stays beyond the check out time in the preceding Paragraph, extra charges shall be paid as follows:
  1. From noon to 6:00 pm : 50% of the corresponding room cost shall be charged.
  2. From noon to over 6:00 pm : 100% of the corresponding room cost shall be charged.

Article 9. [Business Hours]
The business hours of the Hotel are as follows, however it can be changed under certain circumstances.
  1. Breakfast restaurant(1st floor, business hours) : 07:00 ~ 09:00
  2. Coffee shop(1st floor, business hours) : 07:00 ~ 21:00
  3. Korean food restaurant(1st floor, business hours) : 11:00 ~ 21:00 / requires reservation
  4. Japanese food restaurant(1st floor, business hours) : 11:00 ~ 21:00 / requires reservation
  5. Western food restaurant(1st floor, business hours) 11:00 ~ 21:00 / requires reservation
  6. Room service : 11:00 ~ 21:00 / Operating hours Pre-order is available.

Article 10 [Payment of Accommodation Charges]
  1. Accommodation Charges, etc. as stated in the preceding Paragraph shall be paid with cash, credit cards or by vouchers recognized by the Hotel at the front desk at the time of arrival or upon request by the Hotel. Please note that we do not accept personal checks.
  2. Accommodation Charges shall be fully paid before the Guest use the room to the front desk.

Article 11. [Complying with the Hotel regulations]
In order to ensure the safe and comfortable use of our hotel by guests, we ask for your cooperation in complying with out Hotel regulations.

Article 12. [Right of the Hotel to Withdraw from the Hotel Accommodation Contract]
The Hotel may cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases.
  1. When the Guest is deemed liable to conduct and/or have conducted himself in a manner that will contravene the above Paragraphs from the 3rd to 7th of Article 2.
  2. When the guest is determined to be at risk of behaving in a manner contrary to the Hotel regulations prescribed above.

Article 13. [Liabilities of the Hotel for accommodation]
  1. Liabilities of the Hotel for Accommodation shall be deemed to have been concluded when the Hotel has duly accepted the application as stipulated in the preceding Article and it shall be ended when the Guest lefts the room to depart.
  2. The Hotel shall compensate the Guest for the damage if the Hotel has caused such damage to the Guest in the fulfillment or the nonfulfillment of the Accommodation Contract and/or related agreements. However, the same shall not apply in case when such damage has been caused due to reasons for which the Hotel is no liable.
  3. The Hotel shall, when unable to provide contracted rooms due to causes liable to the Hotel, arrange accommodation of the same standard elsewhere for the Guest insofar as practicable except in case of a natural disaster or similar events.
